Meet Your Provider

Dr. Nikki Gronbeck, PT, DPT, ATC, CSCS

Hi, I'm Nikki! 👋🏼

I'm the founder of One Step Physio & Fitness, LLC, and I help adults navigate the complex impact of Parkinson's Disease so they can move with more confidence, strength, and control.

Many of my patients are living with changes that feel hard to explain to anyone who hasn't been there. Steps that got shorter without you noticing. Feet that stick to the floor at doorways. Stiffness that makes getting out of a chair a project. Handwriting that shrank. Balance that isn't what it was. Some are newly diagnosed and trying to figure out what comes next, while others have been managing symptoms for years and want more than what they've been given.

I believe a diagnosis doesn't decide what your life looks like, and that understanding how your body works is the first step toward creating a plan that actually fits your needs.

My approach combines individualized movement assessment, targeted exercise programming, education, and supportive coaching to help you build strength, improve balance, manage symptoms, and feel more confident in your body. Rather than focusing only on the hardest movement of the day, we'll look at the bigger picture and fill your toolbox with strategies that support your independence and your long-term goals.

Whether you were diagnosed last month, you're working to stay ahead of symptoms, or you're looking for ways to stay active and independent for the long haul, my goal is to help you move well and take back control of the things Parkinson's made you feel you'd lost.

If you're ready to build strength, protect your independence, and feel more confident with movement, I'd love to help.
